Today's Focus Is "Friendship"

Today's Focus Is "Friendship"... This topic was inspired by Recent and pass events that has transpired both in my life and also my beautiful future wife April...You know happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife. Which I think God everyday for this blessing within April and I relationship. After having conversations with several of my colleagues I decided to use this as today's focus...

You know a true friend NEVER gets in your WAY unless you happen to be going DOWN.  A true friend is one who overlooks your FAILURES and TOLERATES   your SUCCESS!
Friends can help each other, but a true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he or she really is.

I personally believe and know the two most misused words in the entire English vocabulary are love and friendship. A true friend would die for you, so when you start trying to count them on one hand, you don't need any fingers. So if you're going to think mean things about me or not be a true friend, then we don't need to be friends at all...

Today's Focus Is..."Planning"

Now Webster defines "Planning" as "the act or process of making or carrying out plans ; specifically : the establishment of goals, policies, and procedures for a social or economic unit." Most of us know, when we plan something we normally succeed! The hardest part is how do we plan for success continuously in every area of our life?

As a career "professional" our plan should consist of continuous education and certification within our field of expertise. The only way you can consistently get promoted is by continuously providing new value to the company that you work for. So you should have a clear and precise plan of execution to do so!

The same factors play when you own a "business". You must plan to continuously build a solid operation, marketing & sales strategy, and innovative product/service which meet the needs of your current customers and future potential ones as well. Planning provides you insight and action steps towards your business goals ultimately becoming realities!

You must plan on what type of lifestyle that you truly want to live... You must understand when you make these choices, other people are involved... If you know you're going to be working 80-100 hours a week. You may want to stay single or find a spouse who works at the same level. If you know you want to have children you must find a flexibility within your lifestyle. If you want to have multiple places to live you must create multiple streams of income to survive! All your wants within your lifestyle must ultimately be a part of your master plan of how to get there!

Mindset "Mind Over Matter"

Good morning... I'm feeling unusually under the weather this morning...But as you all know success never sleeps, So I'm in front of the Mac working as usual...

I'm going to be short today and talk about "mindset"... I believe the greatest thing I've ever learned from my mentors was "mind over matter"... Vince once stated to me "its easy to control your mind towards positive movement over anything that you truly love"... This is why for many of us, as we work our job it's hard for us to control our mindsets towards positive movement... mainly because we really don't love what where doing...

So if you ever have this feeling its time for you to change careers! Find your purpose and what you love in life, so you can be able to control your mindset quicker towards positive movement, happiness & success!

Todays Focus is...Sustainability

Today's focus is..."Sustainability"... Last Monday was "Earth Day", also "Earth Week" So many of us last week was talking about recycling, reusable materials, going green and sustainability! Webster defines sustainability as..."The ability to maintain at a certain rate or level, conserving an ecological balance by avoiding depletion of natural resources" We all "want" to create a sustainable lifestyle or organization but how do we obtain this achievement?

When I'm working with my business clients, especially starter businesses the word sustainability is key to long-term success. Most businesses at the startup stage spend a lot of unnecessary time and money "depleting resources" which does not give them a great return on their investment. Its the main reason why 50% of most businesses burnout within the first five years. Established businesses also fall at "sustainability" by not keeping up on what's innovative. In order to insure sustainability at any stage of your business, you must evaluate your time and resources to create balance. Once you've found this balance, you must put systems in place to maintain a balance rate and steady growth.

From a lifestyle perspective "sustainability" means the exact same thing...in order to maintain a steady and growing relationship. You must "reuse" the same methods in which the relationship was established. This creates a "eco-friendly" environment which both people can benefit from.Too often I see married couples walk in my office who lost the flame in their relationship by not "reusing" the methods which got them in the relationship in the first place! The methods that work you keep and the methods which cause trouble you let go!

Today's Focus Is Resilience...

It's back... Today's focus is "Resilience"! Now Webster defines resilience as an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change. Personally I like to look at resilience from a psychological point of view...an individual's tendency to cope with stress and adversity. I think that we all agree that in life we all need resilience...

Now in business it's very important to have resilience... The pressures of owning a business the stress and challenges that you will face when you own a business. You will need resilience 24/7. It is the only action that will keep you going and help you reach the top performance in business.

Resiliency also works in your personal life too, as you build relationships with friends and with your significant other. There are challenges and adversities that comes along the way. Staying resilient during hard times in any type of relationship will keep that relationship strong and forever! #ThinkAboutIt #SuccessNeverSleeps #BizLifeGuru #SMARTInConcepts #TodaysFocusIs #Resilience #Resiliency #Resilient

Today's Focus is...Perception

"Today's Focus Is.."Perception"...Webster define it as..."is the organization, identification and interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and the environment... Now we all now how important interpretation and environment means to business but what does it really mean to your bottom line....

In my business sessions I teach my students that perception is just like beauty...It is in the eye of the beholder...You every hear of the saying..."another man's trash is another man's treasure"...it's completely true! People's perception on life is the reason why their life is where it is...if you don't believe in the impossible...well sorry...it will never happen to you! So if you think like a small business you will forever be a small business, but if you change your perception, you will change your outcome

The same goes into relationships if you think your spouse is like everyone else then your perception will ultimately be the outcome! So I tell everyone have a positive perception on life and the people you have around you!
